Brand Cases
The method, shown in the open.
Short educational readings of public brand signals on large corporations. Each runs the same three filters as a SemioXis Evidence Report: Intelligibility, Relevance, Differentiation. None of them is an Evidence Report: no score, no rights opinion, no valuation claim — and the subject brands are intentionally not named.
The three filters every reading runs against
Every case on this page is read the same way, in the same order. The order matters: a message that cannot be understood cannot be tested for relevance, and a message that is not relevant does not benefit from standing apart.
- Intelligibility — is the message legible? Can a first-time visitor state what is being offered, to whom, and on what terms, without scrolling twice or clicking through? Illegibility is rarely a design failure; it is usually a decision that was never made and got published anyway.
- Relevance — does it hold under substitution? Replace the brand name in a claim with a direct competitor's. If the sentence still reads as true, the claim belongs to the category, not to the brand, and it is doing no work. This substitution test is the fastest way to separate positioning from decoration.
- Differentiation — does it stand apart in its ecosystem? Not whether the brand feels distinctive internally, but whether it is distinguishable at the moment of decision, against the specific alternatives a buyer is comparing on that same day.
How these readings are made
Each case works only from signals a buyer could see without privileged access: the public page, its visible claims, its structure at the decision point. No internal data, no client relationship, no confidential material. The subject brands are large and intentionally left unnamed — the point is the mechanism, not the company.
These are educational readings, not diagnostics. They carry no score, no rights opinion, and no valuation claim. What they demonstrate is the reading itself: how a visible signal is tested, and what a failure at each filter actually costs at the point of decision.
The same reading, on your own brand
Want this reading on your own brand, with cited evidence and a founder review? That is the SemioXis Evidence Report — one public URL, one English PDF, one business day, USD 899. Every report is read and signed off by the founder against a fixed proof standard before it is delivered.
